Run record — 2026-08-27

Visual difference from the previous Run

The 40–48 second survivor no longer expands as a generic radial lobe. It now unfolds five paired membranes from a curved spine, alternating inherited light and black tissue. Gold ribs and a low-frequency core pulse connect the anatomy, while the viewer's final dusk-boundary position biases its asymmetry. A first version rendered too much like a propeller and was rejected after the PC browser frame; the adopted version is smaller, translucent, noisy at the edge and embedded in the parents' material field.

Browser verification

  • PC: actual-time pass reached 00:48, WHAT REMAINS, finished: true; viewport and canvas were 1418 × 802. This pass exposed and rejected the oversized geometric version.
  • PC adopted shape: Chrome frame rendered at second 47, 1440 × 900 command window, and was visually accepted for organic scale and integration.
  • SP-equivalent: actual-time pass reached 00:48, WHAT REMAINS, finished: true; Chrome's minimum headless viewport was 512 × 746 and canvas matched it. Final UI remained legible and the organism stayed centered without clipping.
  • JavaScript and browser-check syntax checks passed. Audio state reached ON, but listening quality remains unverified.

Current quality score

GateScoreRemaining weakness
Story3Third-party interpretation not observed
Art Direction4Adopted final organism now has a consistent material language
Motion Direction3Early 0–20 second movement remains mostly drift/deformation
Interaction3Boundary position now affects inheritance, but consequence needs clearer preview
Sound2Event synchronization exists; authored soundscape and human listening QA are absent
Engineering4PC and SP-equivalent 48-second passes complete with matching canvas sizes
Emotional residue3Final image improved; first-viewer emotional language is unobserved

No publication request. The studio is past the Day 7 external-signal target without a third-party observation. Recovery is to stop adding final-shot detail and next improve the interaction consequence plus sound, then request a tightly scoped five-viewer test once the internal gate reaches 4.

Interaction and sound pass

The dusk gesture now records two distinct values during seconds 20–28: hold quality and boundary position. Hold quality controls the survivor's scale and gold pulse; boundary position becomes its inherited asymmetry. A real-time Chrome pass dispatched a centered hold at second 21 and completed at 00:48 with holdMemory: 1, inheritance: 0, soundOn: true, and matching 1418 × 802 viewport/canvas. The no-input fallback remains 0.48 so passive viewing still produces a complete work.

The sound engine now moves through seven authored states instead of a constant drone: chapter-specific low-pass targets, three-voice balance, beat intervals and pitches, with separate birth and rupture transients. This raises Interaction to 4 provisionally and Sound to 3; Sound remains below the public gate until a human listening pass confirms balance, distortion and emotional timing.
