Evidence Court — TPT listing package
Product title
Evidence Court: Device-Free AI & Source Literacy Game | Grades 9–12
One-line promise
Turn source evaluation into a 20–25 minute evidence trial—without student accounts, live AI, current-events research, or personal data.
Description
Students receive a fictional AI-style answer and three evidence cards. In groups of 3–5, they act as Claimant, Skeptic, Source Auditor, and Judge, then issue one of three verdicts: accept, hold, or reject.
The goal is not to guess the teacher's answer. Students earn points by citing a specific card, limiting a claim to what the evidence actually supports, distinguishing missing evidence from contrary evidence, and requesting one relevant next source.
Included
- 6 original fictional cases
- role instructions and 20–25 minute lesson flow
- reasoning-based scoring rubric
- teacher case notes
- exit ticket
- teacher observation sheet
Designed for
